From toddlers to teenagers, Fenom has programs to suit all ages.  Our progression-based approach to sports and fitness has been proven to build confidence and self-esteem in kids of any age and ability.  We offer an array of sports, fitness and outdoor activities both at our facility and away.  If you would like to see us at your school or club, please send an email to our Marketing Department.

YOUTH PROGRAMS

PRIVATE / SEMI-PRIVATE TRAINING

FITNESS TRAINING: Fenom offers private and semi-private athletic training for boys and girls who are looking to improve their overall health, fitness and skill. Fenom trainers will tailor each workout to target personal goals in fitness and performance.

PRIVATE TRAINING: Our experienced coaches will teach your child the fundamentals, skills and self-esteem needed to participate at every level in any activity of his or her choosing. We encourage younger children to start with Fitness Training or in our Mash-Ups program before selecting this option. We offer private lessons in baseball, softball, basketball, lacrosse, soccer, and more.  Bike riding and Rollerblading lessons are offered too.  Scroll down for details. 

Semi-private lessons are offered for groups of two kids.

MULTI-SPORT MASH UPS

Grades: K - 5th Grade

Mash ups are Fenom’s signature multi-Sport activity that not only teaches the game, but also safely introduces the importance of fitness. Our progression-based philosophy is applied to each class to improve participants’ skills and confidence.  The fundamental techniques of running, jumping, throwing, catching and dribbling are some of the activities that participants engage in. Mash ups are offered in 60 or 90-minute sessions and are modified by age and ability.  

SPORTS SERIES

Grades: 1 - 7th Grade

Sports Series is the next step in our progression-based approach to sports. Participants who want to focus on an individual sport graduate from our multi sport mash up programs to our sports series classes. Fenom collaborates with local accomplished coaches to combine athletic training with skills and game development.

OFF-SEASON PREP TRAINING

 

Fenom conducts various sports clinics throughout the year.  The type of sports clinic offered is generally based on the pre-season, but also on a group's interests. These sessions are a collaboration between Fenom trainers and local accomplished coaches that combine fitness training with skills and game development. Past clinics have included lacrosse, field hockey, baseball, softball, soccer, and basketball, to name a few.

BIKE / BLADE LESSONS

 

Our bike'n'blade lessons have been featured in several publications, including the New York Times! 

Bike: Learn how to balance, pedal, start, stop, steer, etc.  BYOB(ike) -- NO training wheels -- and helmet!

Blade: Learn how to balance, "wedge" walk, glide, heel stop, etc.  Bring your rollerblades, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guard and helmet!

All participants will also learn the basic safety rules behind these skills.

All bike and rollerblade lessons are conducted outdoors on our premesis.  Call to reserve.

OUTDOOR ADVENTURES AND SKI TRIPS

 

In the warmer months, Fenom offers leisurely biking and hiking adventures for kids of all skill levels.  Participants are lead through various local paths and trails to explore the great outdoors.

In the Winter, Fenom offers group ski and snowboard getaways to local mountains.  These fun day trips will teach kids the fundamentals of skiing or snowboarding.  Hop on board the Fenom Winter Express!

SCHOOLS & CLUBS

 

Fenom conducts sports & fitness programs at several local schools and clubs throughout the year.  We are also actively involved in health fairs and carnivals, as we strongly believe in promoting a healthy lifestyle from a very young age.
